Online Prenatal Infant Feeding Class
Learn the essentials to get the best start breast/chest feeding your baby. Taught by Hazel Team midwives Stephanie Crouch, Laura Wood and Xanthe Faulkner, this online 1.5 hour class will cover:
How to prepare your body for infant feeding; recognizing and responding to infant feeding cues
Techniques for latching and positioning basics
How to know if your baby is getting enough food
Common misconceptions & struggles and how to overcome them
Mixed feeding best practices
Common supplements and medications used during lactation
Accessories to support feeding, bottles and beyond!

Clients of Strathcona Midwifery have complimentary access this class. Registration is required.
Non-clients: $20 per family. We’re committed to supporting everyone’s access to this class, so a sliding scale is available.
Trans and Queer Pregnancy and Parenting Group
A space for queer and trans folks to gather, discuss topics related to pregnancy and parenting, offer support, and build community. We request that allies support us by respecting this space as a trans and queer space only.

Home Birth Info Nights
Meet other families and get all your home and water birth questions answered. Offered every few months on a Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30pm via zoom.
